Malapesquera Beach – where something’s always happening
At 700 metres, it’s the largest beach in Benalmádena. Right next to Puerto Marina, it has it all: palm trees for shade, sports courts and summer activities to keep everyone entertained. It offers access for people with reduced mobility, lifeguards on duty, and fun for all tastes.

Santa Ana Beach – the classic promenade favourite
This is the beach everyone knows, locals and visitors alike. Surrounded by hotels, bars and beach bars, it’s ideal for a swim followed by a stroll with an ice cream in hand. Since 2019, it’s flown the Blue Flag, and if you fancy windsurfing or paddle boarding, everything you need is right here
Carvajal Beach – calm waters and safety guaranteed
On the border with Fuengirola, this dark sandy beach with gentle waters is perfect for families. It proudly holds a Blue Flag, the Tourist Quality Seal, and has constant lifeguard presence. A safe and relaxing choice.

Which beaches have Blue Flag status?
In 2025: Fuente de la Salud and Carvajal. In previous years also Santa Ana, Arroyo de la Miel and Torrevigía.
Are there adapted beaches?
Yes: Malapesquera, Santa Ana, Arroyo de la Miel and Carvajal all have ramps, walkways, adapted toilets and assistance services.
Can I bring my dog?
In summer, only in the designated dog zone at Tajo de la Soga. The rest of the year, there’s more freedom but always under local rules.
Best time to go?
Summer for atmosphere and services; spring and autumn for peace and great weather.
